Dare we say it, more changes are afoot. At Domestic Science we like to keep busy, and that means constant moving and grooving with whatever great stuff we have at our shop at any point in time. With two large shops to fill and inspire you with, we juggle our props and builders as best we can to keep Domestic Science exciting and varied for you, so that without fail you will see something a little different on your visit. Whether its your first time, or your a loyal regular!
At this time of the year more than ever we have our work cutout. Over the next couple of weeks we’re off scouting out the best stock we can find, so you can easily fill your most favourite ones stocking with some of the best stuff around. Yes, i said stocking. We had initially thought that perhaps you thought it would be too early to talk about old FC, but we have been reasonably surprised by the amount of customers we have spoken to who are already doing a lot of their Christmas shopping. Now we know for some it feels way too early, but there is something to be said with seeing something you know someone will love now, and getting it there and then, rather than buying something for the sake of buying it on Christmas Eve because you don’t know what to get them. We are eagerly awaiting you and your present lists, we do sell clip boards now and a whole extended range of stationary for all your list writing!
As well as stationary, lots of new other stock is beginning to make an appearance through our doors in multiple cardboard boxes. To accommodate this, we have got some big moves to do. As i type this we have 6 rather large peg boards being made by our trusty builders, for all our accessories to hang from in both of our shops. This week like our Nailsworth shop, we have had a cheese board clad wall installed in Tetbury to home all of our hardware bits and bobs. We’ve had a new card rack built in Tetbury, we’ve been counting the table tops and trestles we have for pop up tables, researching more jars to stuff with little stocking fillers. Making notes and taking measurements for new shelfs too! Its a busy, but exciting time in the world of Domestic Science.
